Fairway Foodservice’s 20 members increased their collective turnover last year from £715 million to £801.5 million, most of them achieving growth.
The total income has risen year-on-year since 1995, when it was £66 million.
Chief executive Chris Binge (pictured) said: “Hard work, focusing on quality products and quality service, gets its reward for our members who have experienced growth of 12% in a challenging environment.
“Our wholesalers work very hard to meet the ever-increasing demands of caterers by delivering quality products at the right time at competitive prices.
“We constantly seek to improve and enhance our support and have recognised that integrating digital into their operations will play a crucial role in continuing to win and retain customers.
“As a buying group, we have revamped our branding and website and will soon be launching an app.
“We will work closely with members to help them make best use of digital, including producing websites on their behalf if they require one.”
The group, which has members in Ireland and Spainas well as the UK, has relaunched its Fairway Assured own-brand range.
