The judging for the CCM Chefs’ Own-Brand Awards has now been completed, and Cash & Carry Management, in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs, will announce the winners at a prestigious awards lunch at Westminster Kingsway College, London, on Tuesday 4 June.
The judging panel comprised Andrew Green, chief executive of the Craft Guild of Chefs – the leading chefs’ association in the UK; Matt Owens, national vice chairman of the Craft Guild of Chefs; and Jason Gordon, general manager at Compass Group.
The two days of judging were intense, with several of the own-brand products deemed so good that they have been awarded a ‘Best of the Best’ accolade.
The judging was conducted in blind tastings, and feedback from the judges will be given on each product.
