The annual ‘An Evening with the Country Range Group’ event, held at the Sea Life London Aquarium, was attended by almost 200 members, suppliers and guests.
A total of 11 awards were presented by the group and a charity raffle raised £3,300 for Hospitality Action.
Managing director Coral Rose told guests: “This annual awards evening is our way of recognising and celebrating all the members, brands, people and achievements that have been key to the group’s success in 2018. It’s been a very positive year, with turnover up 11%.”

It was announced that during the year 15 products were added to the Country Range brand portfolio. These included sweet potato fries, panko breadcrumbs, broccoli & cauliflower pasty, gluten-free cakes and Christmas desserts, helping annual own-brand sales to grow by 12%.
Rose commented: “Our customer service, varied product portfolio and marketing are what sets us apart from other foodservice providers and enables our independent members to provide the full package to chefs and caterers of all levels and sizes.”
