Time Wholesale Services, which earlier this year moved from a 38,000 sq ft depot in Barking, Essex, to a nearby 82,000 sq ft site in Rainham, is targeting first-year turnover in the new premises of £85 million, compared with £57 million in the building it has vacated.
Managing director of the Landmark Wholesale member, Sony Bihal recently completed the first project of his Every Well Water Foundation to fund clean water in Africa and Asia.
The initial scheme, in Queenstown, South Africa, is benefiting a school of more than 200 pupils. Previously, the children had no access to clean water and relied on gathering rain water or bringing water from home.
The aim of the Every Well Water Foundation is to complete a minimum of four projects a year, the main focus being to build wells, provide toilets and give access to safe sanitation and hygiene.
Time Wholesale Services expects to raise around £40,000 for the charity this year as a result of several events and the launch of Every Well bottled water.
