Wholesalers help coeliacs get gluten-free products

A number of wholesalers, including Bidfood and Thomas Ridley, are offering their gluten-free stock for sale to the general public – a move welcomed by the charity Coeliac UK.

According to the organisation, gluten-free food has been hard to find in many supermarkets due to panic buying. However, in addition to wholesalers helping consumers find the products they require, many restaurants are moving to a takeaway model.
