Wing Yip opens refurbished Birmingham branch

Wing Yip, which next year celebrates its 50th anniversary, has officially opened its refurbished Birmingham Business Centre.

The wholesaler/retailer’s new development, at its head office location in the city’s Nechells district, includes a landscaped outdoor seating area and a pan-Asian restaurant, Min Min, which was previously based in the Birmingham’s China Town district.

The site also houses 22 multi-purpose units, 12 of which are let.

Managing director Brian Yip said: “Our Birmingham Business Centre has been an integral part of the community for many years, providing a wealth of specialist services to both Chinese and non-Chinese communities.”

Wing Yip, which has an annual turnover of around £100 million, also operates branches in Manchester, Cricklewood (north London) and Croydon.
